It is with great sadness that I have to inform members of the club that Colin passed away on 16th June. Colin had gone to the NEC to help on the National Vegetable Society stand, which is something that he used to enjoy doing. He was taken ill while at the NEC and rushed to Hospital.

Most of you would have got to know Colin when you came to buy goods from the Trading Shed on a Saturday afternoon. Although Colin had never been a member of the committee of the gardening club, he was always one of the first to volunteer when help was needed. He will certainly be missed by everyone at the club and in the wider gardening community.

Clearly at this time our thoughts are with his wife and family.
