The October meeting saw Jason give a talk on growing Dahlias for show he gave an insight into how he develops new varieties. He also game us a glimpse of his day job.
The second half of the talk was a demonstration on staging flowers, with other members getting to practise, with a number of the wonderful blooms that he had brought to practise with. Some of the techniques could be used with any flowers that needed to be exhibited not just dahlias.
